Overview
The ZS10F Remote Zero Speed Switch is used in applications where a sensor is already in use,
but the sensor cannot measure over speed, under speed or zero speed conditions. Use the ZS10F Remote Zero Speed Switch as an interface between sensor and control circuitry to enable over speed, under speed and zero speed measurement.
The ZS10F is particularly useful in applications where environmental conditions (such as high temperature) prohibit the use of certain
electronics. In the case of high temperature, the sensor is installed in the prohibitive area and wired to the ZS10F Remote Zero
Speed Switch which is located a safe distance from the high temperature zone.
For high temperature sensors, see our Digital Output Hall Effect Sensors.
Detail
The ZS10F Remote Zero Speed Switch is a plug-n-play device with factory programmed parameters and is DIN rail mountable, making
installation easy. It can be integrated with existing industrial control systems or used as a stand-alone unit.
The ZS10F uses frequency input from various types of sensors to determine the presence of motion or the lack thereof. When motion is
either detected or reaches setpoint, the relay output changes state. It remains in this state until either under speed or zero speed
condition occurs, depending upon application.
The ZS10F Remote Zero Speed Switch Module supplies 12 VDC to external sensor.
